For years, the conspiracy theorists whispered about the possibility that the government was behind terrorist attacks. The Point of Survival is the story of 19-year-old Sydney Trainor, an introverted coed with a secret handicap – she suffers from debilitating panic disorder. After the country's corrupt President commits this violent blitzkrieg, Syd and her fellow trapped coeds go on a mission to rescue her boyfriend in this near-future dystopian thriller.
The dirty bombs contain a bio-agent which renders its victims into a catatonic-like state. Once they are captured, they are micro-chipped and transformed into fighting machines. Rather than sit in hiding, Syd chooses to contend with The Recruits and in the process, discovers she is a brave leader who doesn't need to depend on anyone for safety or happiness.
